Patient Satisfaction Survey
The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is conducting a research project involving patients in need of replacing missing teeth with dental implants and their impact on oral-related quality of life.
Prospective Candidates include:
- Patients without teeth requiring replacement
- Patients whose teeth require removal due to dental decay and/or periodontal disease
Research will include:
- Answering multiple satisfaction surveys, both prior to and after treatment during multiple follow-up visits
- Surveys will be focused on patients’ satisfaction with their current state of dentition, surgical experience and oral rehabilitation
- Dental implant treatment will consist of services already offered at the Oral & Maxillofacial Department performed by senior residents under guidance of expert faculty
Patients enrolled in this research project will receive discounted fees for all Procedures involved with the study
