Andrea Bordoy, DDS
Dr. Andrea Bordoy was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She received her dental degree at Santa María University in 2009.
After finishing dental school, Dr. Bordoy worked as an OMS surgical assistant for a year and then completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at “Dr. Domingo Luciani” Hospital in Caracas, Venezuela.
In 2014 she moved to Bogota, Colombia and completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at National University of Colombia. During her residency, Dr. Bordoy won a scholarship and was selected to be a Teaching Assistant, which allowed her to be involved in the training of dental students.
After residency, she moved to the US and has been part of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UT Health San Antonio since 2018.
Dr. Bordoy clinical interests includes maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery and orthognathic surgery. She is bilingual (Spanish/English).
